Whitney Breshears, LPC, Somatic Touch Practitioner, Trauma Therapist, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist with more than 10 years of experience in trauma therapy. Currently, only working with Adults: I focus on supporting developmental and attachment trauma through healing modules such as: Somatic Experiencing (SE), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and Somatic Touch Work (aka Co-regulating Touch). I offer an intuitive and highly skilled healing process that blends trauma training with traditional and holistic modalities to meet the needs of each unique individual and nervous system.
I have completed extensive trauma training, including but not limited to Somatic Experiencing Training through the Trauma Institute in Boulder, CO. I am trained in EMDR, (TFCBT), Play Therapy and DDP. I am trained in Reiki, which works with the body’s energy system. I am also Advanced Level trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
Due to my own struggle with an autoimmune disease, I was drawn to Somatic Experiencing. Determining that my health struggles were a result of how my body was processing and holding onto emotional and early life experiences. I am passionate about being with clients in their own process of connecting with their inner capacity to heal; body, mind and spirit.
