We are impacted by the experiences, good and bad, that we go through in life. Sometimes things totally out of our control have the biggest impact on the choices we make in life. Many times we do not realize this until our own lives seem out of control. Emotional recovery is needed to heal from the negative experiences that impacted our world view, our ability to trust others, and again the choices we make. Sometimes it is helpful to have someone walk with us on our journey of healing. That is the role of the therapist. At times, we all need a little guidance.
I have provided trauma informed care since 2015. I believe in the potential of all people to grow and heal. I believe in providing a safe and supportive environment that encourages clients to flourish, non-judgmental, empathetic, and caring. I am trained in Brainspotting, DBT and CBT.
