About
My ideal client is a client who is ready and committed to making changes in their life. I work with clients who have the motivation and capability for change but lack the ability to see the path they need to take. I believe all clients posses the means for change but some lack the motivation for change.
I am a strength based therapist and initially-directive. I am also a future-oriented therapist which means rather than getting stuck working on the problems of the past, I work with you to understand how those problems are affecting you currently and then helping move forward.
I am a very light-hearted and laidback therapist with the capacity to give you the empathy you need while promoting independence and personal responsibility in my client. I truly believe the two biggest components to a person's change is personal responsibility and changing what you focus on.

Love and Logic
Love and Logic is a parenting curriculum developed by Jim Fay and Foster Kline and promoted/distributed by the Love and Logic Foundation out of Colorado. I have found the techniques to transcend parenting and be applicable in nearly every relationship as it highlights boundaries, communication, personal responsibility and solutions. It is strength-based and founded in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral and solution focused.
Love and Logic
Utilizing Love and Logic modality in developing boundaries, communication and problem solving skills primarily with parent/child relationships but applicable for a variety of relationships.
