I work with adolescents, young adults, and families who are struggling with anger, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Family Conflict, and stage of life decisions (including “failure to launch”). I believe in the power of experience and self-discovery to lead towards living a better life. I focus on helping clients explore community, family, and other support, as well as developing skills for healthy communications to foster independence and self-confidence. My career has been centered in guiding folks through difficult life transitions, peer issues, family conflict, and challenges in school, home, and in outdoor settings.
I have helped young people explore how to be kinder to themselves and those around them, as well as how to change communication styles to better engaged with the world around them. I have over 10 years of experience walking with individuals and families on the path to resolving conflict and becoming more resilient. Building safe relationships is important.
We all have to recharge somehow. During our time together, we will explore how do you recharge after difficult situations or events. I personally recharge through being outside, time with my partner, and time with my dog. As we work together, it is okay for us to talk about the goals and things you also want to work towards in life in order to feel happy.
