We all belong to various systems and support systems, such as family systems; community systems; oppressive capitalistic, racist, patriarchal, and ablest systems; and more. Over the span of our lives these systems take a compounding effect on our mental health and quality of life. Building a career, attaining advanced education, establishing a supportive community of family and friends, all requires us to unpack the role of these systems on our lives. This is how we become our authentic selves.
I offer a range of services to help you with your personal and professional challenges and goals. My practice is Black-centered and focused on strength-based, emancipatory practices. I work with adults of all races/ethnicities, genders, faith backgrounds, and sexual orientations. Occasionally, when it is a good fit, I work with clients who are under 18yo.
Clients typically schedule a $100 virtual consult with me to begin services. During these consults I provide answers to client questions, insights into how I work, and educational information about presenting concerns. If there is a good fit and you want to move forward, your $100 consult fee will be applied and credited to your first counseling session.
