Thank you for stopping by! My name is Wendy Turney and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Georgia. I have worked with individuals from coast to coast, from the city to the country, and everywhere in between. I have been providing telehealth services since 2015 helping individuals navigate many different types of challenges impacting mental wellness. In my practice history, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, however, my preference is working one-on-one with an individual.
My approach is guided by you, person-centered, and strengths-based. I offer an integrated therapeutic approach drawing from many therapeutic sources including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and solution-focused therapies.
In this process, it is important you feel safe, comfortable, and connected with a therapist who is non-judgmental, open-minded, and accepting. When meeting with me, it is my goal that you feel safe, seen, heard, and understood. My communication style is collaborative, bringing humor, compassion, and authenticity into each session.
