With over seventeen years' experience working with adults, teens, individuals, and couples on issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, abuse/trauma, PTSD, and relationship issues, my approach to therapy is integrative, utilizing CBT, EMDR and talk therapy to aid in healing and growth.
Often, adults find that past issues in their lives seem to be limiting the present. When a client has experienced abuse/trauma, it can have far reaching effects. I have found EMDR to be highly effective in processing these experiences, both recent and early childhood, in order to move past painful events and help individuals live a full, rewarding life.
My focus is on helping individuals build on their strengths, while assisting them in learning skills to improve the areas they feel are lacking. I believe we are all capable of change, given a safe, accepting environment, along with support and tools for personal growth. I would be honored to help you on your journey.
