About
The quest to live authentically is challenging but ultimately transformative. With hard work and supportive professional guidance, clients have the opportunity to examine persistent, troubling patterns without judgment or shame, and in doing so create space for growth and possibility. I work with clients age 6 to end of life -- individuals, partners, and families -- to explore individual and relational challenges that may lead to feeling depressed, anxious, or "stuck." I offer support with life transitions, including separation and divorce. My work is LGBTQ+ affirmative, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, confidential.
For individuals, I utilize narrative and behavioral approaches to help clients separate themselves from "the problem" and gain enhanced insight. Couples/partners can utilize discernment, Gottman, attachment-based and behavioral approaches to work towards enhanced communication and satisfaction. I value my work with children, adolescents, and their families.
It can be hard to know when the time is right for therapy. If problems seem overwhelming, if a history of trauma impacts your current life, if family relationships are challenged, if you are considering divorce, if substance dependence has overshadowed your life, if you have questions related to gender or sexual identity, I would like to help.
