About
I hold PhD in Clinical Psychology and a Master's Degree in Psychology. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with Individuals, Couples, and Creatives. I support my clients in achieving greater well being by honing what is genuinely unique and important to them. I teach practices that boost resiliency to stress and inspire self-esteem and self-compassion to bloom. I support my clients in breaking through blocks and in unleashing authentic and dynamic self-expression, so that their values are congruent with their behavior, and their intentions and desires become experiences that are truly lived.
My work with Couples is informed by the empirically supported research of John Gottman and David Schnarch. I also teach the Mindfulness Meditation Techniques of Jon-Kabat-Zinn, various Solution-Focused Therapy techniques, and the guided Imagery work of Bellruth Naparstek. Other areas of focus: Creative coaching for creatives.
I work with professional and non-professional artists and creatives at all stages. I help my creative clients to break through blocks, combat resistance, tackle performance anxiety, master deadlines, resolve discipline issues, and mine ideas into satisfying form.
