I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2004 and has had my RPT-S since 2008. I graduated in 2000 with a Master of Social Work with a focus on complex trauma, PTSD, and until recently play therapy. I also enjoy family therapy, working with all ages of clients from 10+ to adults. I truly believe we all have the ability inside of us to heal and will guide you along your journey, which is an honor.
In our first session I will get the "1000" foot view from you and learn more about you. It is a bit "formal" in that we both want to be sure I am a good fit for your needs. If there are things too difficult to go into that is fine, we will go at your pace. This is also an opportunity to get to know me a bit.
I believe we all have the ability to heal. Our past does not define us. We can only grow from here and I am honored to work with you. I am transparent and do not suggest client's try anything I have not done myself. I try to be transparent, warm, use humor but also provide empathy and a safe place to heal.
