My name is Wendy Gudiel, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I currently am working with adults of all ages and specialize in anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and parenting. I try to create a safe space for my clients to help them progress and start seeing changes. I also tailor an individual’s treatment by utilizing different approaches to the needs of the individual.
My therapeutic approach includes elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and trauma-informed interventions. My approach to therapy uses Strengths-Based Theory and Attachment Theory to help guide treatment and empower individuals to understand themselves and their needs.
I entered the profession due to my passion for helping others and seeing them become the best versions of themselves. I have faced many challenges in my personal life that have strengthened my empathy and understanding of others’ struggles. I’ve had the privilege of working with different age groups and populations facing complex challenges.
