When children enter school they may be exposed to new peer pressures, academic demands or uncertainty in their environment. Children tend to withdraw or demonstrate behavior changes when they are faced with challenges they don't know how to navigate. Parents often struggle with how to best support their child. This is where counseling for children, teens and college students can provide guidance in supporting a child's social, emotional and academic growth. Having a neutral adult relationship in their lives can help!
With 30 years of public school experience, I understand the demands/challenges placed on children. By provide parenting tips I can help you re-connect and support your child or teen. I work with parents and children. My goal is to help your child find solutions and strength to move forward with a renewed sense of hope, self-esteem and self-advocacy skills.
