About
I provide individual counseling using person-centered theory, a non-judgmental approach based on empathy and unconditional positive regard. I believe that you are the expert on your life and I am here to help you identify your strengths, face your challenges, and empower you to make changes to improve your quality of life. I use techniques from Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectic Behavior Therapy to provide you with tools to create lasting change. I will offer you a safe environment, based on understanding, trust, and respect, to support you in your journey toward positive change.
I have experience supporting individuals through concerns related to depression, anxiety, eating disorders and body image, academic and athletic performance, life transitions, career development, and stress management. I often use my training in biological psychology to help my clients understand the neurobiologic bases of their mental health concerns.
I understand that it can sometimes be challenging to reach out for support. I want to provide you with an unbiased space where you are free to explore how your life experience, current environment, and innate biology have shaped your mental health and encourage you through personal growth and positive change.
