I work with clients building their relationship to their bodies, their sexual identities, and desires. My clients also include people processing complex grief, communication barriers in relationships, and exploring values and shifting behaviors to promote authenticity, mindfulness, and integrity.
I specialize in sex therapy with competence in many other areas. My main theoretical orientation includes acceptance and commitment therapy coupled with somatic work and cognitive behavioral therapy. Interventions may include imagery and metaphor, homework, identifying core beliefs, learning to become observers of our thoughts, mindfulness, and many more.
In this process, we collaborate to set goals and create structure for our therapeutic focus. It is my honor to act as a guide, shining lights where we have not yet seen and holding a mirror for my clients to reflect thoughts, emotions, and meaning.
