It can be really hard to put yourself out there and start seeing a therapist, so I’m glad you’ve taken the first step towards doing that. Because I know therapy can sometimes be uncomfortable for people I think it’s important for us to take some time to get to know each other so you can feel more at ease when we’re meeting. I really want to help you work through whatever is bringing you to therapy, in a way that makes sense to you.
In our sessions I will use various treatment methods that are focused on what works for you, but my focus is generally using CBT informed treatment. I am also EMDR trained. Throughout my career I have gained a lot of experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health struggles and substance use disorders.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and working with you to help you achieve your goals and restore any lost joy or confidence in your life!
