I’ve always had a passion for being a helper and support to others. I began my career in education, where I learned my students could be more successful academically if they had the tools to manage their emotions and the challenges life tosses their way. This led me to enroll in a counseling program to help my students, which began my immersion into the field of counseling and supporting others as a professional helper and psychotherapist. At NOCD, my team and I provide personalized and effective specialized treatment for OCD and related conditions, such as BFRBs (including skin-picking, nail-biting, and hair-pulling).
Our expertise allows us to diagnose and treat these conditions properly. We are trained in evidence-based treatments, including Exposure Response and Prevention (ERP) therapy and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). When you start with NOCD, you'll work with me or be paired with a therapist in our network, based on your preferences.
We’ll get to know you and create a treatment plan to address your challenges and achieve your goals. NOCD offers support between sessions through direct messaging, online therapy tools, and peer communities, so you never feel alone.
