About
I work with preteens, adolescents, and adults (11-60). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). One of my passions is to help with school or college. I have assisted students with getting a 504 or IEP and maintaining said document. I am happy to attend school meetings, when available. My strength is working with Anxiety and Trauma. I also work with Depression, Self-Harm, Mood Disorders, ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. Rising Sun Therapy is for women and children. We work on the unique needs of women and their families. We have a holistic approach to treatment.
I have a fluid style in working with clients. I feel each client has a unique situation, personality, and need. I allow clients to express themselves the way they do best (art, poetry, literature, music, metaphors, etc.). I work mostly from a solution-focused approach. With evidenced-based treatment, I do CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT.
We are currently telehealth only. The location will open the week of 8/15/2022. At that time, we will be able to take in person clients.
