Hello, my name is Eduardo, I also go by Eddie. I am Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in the state of Texas with approximately twelve years experience working with teens, young adults, and seasoned adults. Additionally, I've worked with children for eight years in the public school setting. Currently, I offer telehealth counseling and therapy services with a focus on teens, young adults and mature adults who are interested in addressing their mental and emotional health. Some special interests of mine are supporting young members of the LGBTQ+ community in their journey of self-care.

There is no "one-size fits all" approach in the experience of working with the individual needs of a person. Special skills I subscribe to in my therapy approach include empathy, supportive feedback, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, & Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (Attachment based).

Attitudes and views on addressing the needs of our mental health have improved in the last few years. It warms my heart when a young person, a person from marginalized communities, or a member of the LGBTQ community reach out seeking support. This motivation and interest is key in a successful collaboration between a client and their therapist.
