I'm currently accepting new individual clients only, currently there is a waiting list for COUPLES & FAMILY clients. I’m a fully licensed and independent marriage and family therapist. I tend to lean into solution focused, behavioral, and collaborative therapies. These techniques are used to treat a variety of struggles including: depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, substance use disorder, etc. I’m certified in mindfulness which I often utilize. I show up with as much unconditional positive regard as I can because therapy should feel positive, even when it's tough.
I’ve worked in mental health & wellness for 12+ yrs with roles as an individual counselor, intensive care coordinator, rehabilitation specialist, in home behavioral therapist, and sub abuse counselor. Each person I work with will be a collaborator in their journey so we can work together to arrive at a destination that feels good, maybe even great.
Life is hard. Just when we think we've got it figured out, life throws something new & harder at us. Sometimes our loved ones don't have the capacity/ability/skill set to help us. Therapy helps us move from a stuck place and with me it's somewhere you don't have to put your needs aside and can focus on healing in the way you want.
