Welcome to my practice. I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological, neurodevelopmental, and neuropsychiatric/behavioral disorders effecting late adolescents and adults. Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations are aimed at identifying patterns of cognitive strengths and weaknesses across multiple domains that help localize organic brain dysfunction, assist with differential diagnosis, and guide treatment recommendations. Cognitive rehabilitation and psychological interventions are offered. Services provided in Southeast (Houston) Texas.

As an Individual, Couples and Family Therapist, I utilize evidence-based theories to assist in the journey of healing. Speciality training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)Therapy, CBT and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also a Family Mediator, Parent Coordinator and Parenting Facilitator assigned by the family courts in Texas.

We are a group of license professional counselors and psychologist dedicated to providing our clients with quality psychological services including individual psychotherapy for children, teens and adults. Your success and happiness is our goal. Because we have several clinicians we can find the right therapist for you. In addition we provide a variety of psychological testing and assessment.

Currently accepting new clients. My name is Boisey Bristo, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Brain Injury Specialist based in Ft. Worth, Texas delivering services statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults specializing in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, stress and adjustment challenges, trauma, culture and diversity, and brain injury. My counseling philosophy is that “every journey begins with the first step.” I consider the therapeutic alliance to be the most essential to success in therapy. I will never judge you, but I will always be real with you.

Dr. Jackson has a bachelors' and masters' degree in General Psychology from the University of Houston. Her Doctor of Philosophy Degree is in Clinical Adolescent Psychology from Prairie View A & M. She has been involved in clinical work for the past 21 years and a college professor for 16 years.

We are a team of mental health professionals working together to help our clients understand who they are, where they came from, and what they want their lives to look like. I am a certified sex addiction therapist who has successfully helped individuals heal from sex, porn and love addiction (staying in a relationship when it is not healthy or stable).

A favorite saying of mine is "CHANGE... It's One of Life's Only Constants..." Change often signifies growth. Changes often move us from our comfort zone and may trigger stressful or distressing thoughts, behaviors, emotions or physiological responses. Our responses are often unconscious. Except we consciously recognize increased discomfort, pain or unproductive functioning in our daily roles and relationships. We all face challenges in our lives and the way that we make sense of those challenges is unique to each person. Although none of us are exempt from challenges, I have found that there are often choices regarding how we can cope with difficulties in our lives. Therapy provides an opportunity for growth, learning new coping skills, managing emotions in a healthy manner, and more importantly, for you to be heard as an individual.

My practice is primarily family therapy where multiple family members participate. The majority of the families I work with have at least one, if not many, of the following diagnoses: AD/HD, oppositional defiant disorder, selective mutism, learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, pragmatic communication, etc), social communication disorder, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and/or bipolar disorder. I actively use Accelerated Resolution Therapy(ART) to help people gain relief from trauma and persistent unwanted thoughts. I also offer comprehensive reports for social security applications.

I believe that we all have the capacity to succeed, to overcome, to grow. We are all affected by our experiences, and my goal is to help you find the way beyond those experiences so that you can find yourself again. I specialize in MYS therapy, a new neuroscientific solution-focused method. MYS allows you to learn how to manage your own brain in a way that stops automatic negative and racing thoughts and increases positivity, self control, peace, and more! We find your core emotional wound without stressful or painful rehashing it, and teach you how to simply and quickly heal it. Your mental health is in YOUR hands!

My passion is helping people who struggle in their daily lives with anxiety, anger, depression and PTSD. These can all be overwhelming and can make someone feel left out. Often, they can make someone believe they are not capable of living a normal life. Many feelings and actions thrive from these struggles and some of the struggles can have serious consequences on your life and future.

I have worked with a diverse set of populations providing trauma therapy and neurofeedback therapy. Throughout my career, I have built trauma-focused programs at different mental health organizations. With a passion for working with combat veterans, I have also been a contracted Neurofeedback clinician with the Lone Survivor Foundation to serve those that served our nation. I led a trauma team in the Santa Fe District to implement systems and provide trauma-wellness counseling services to students and staff in the district in response to the May 18th mass violence tragedy at Santa Fe High School.

I enjoy working with clients that come as they are; whether that be a client who needs assistance with accountability while pursuing their goals or if a client is interested in exploring and beginning their journey in therapy. It is always a pleasure joining a client in their journey.
