I have worked with a diverse set of populations providing trauma therapy and neurofeedback therapy. Throughout my career, I have built trauma-focused programs at different mental health organizations. With a passion for working with combat veterans, I have also been a contracted Neurofeedback clinician with the Lone Survivor Foundation to serve those that served our nation. I led a trauma team in the Santa Fe District to implement systems and provide trauma-wellness counseling services to students and staff in the district in response to the May 18th mass violence tragedy at Santa Fe High School.

My ideal client is anyone who is eager to make changes toward a healthier and more fulfilling life emotionally, mentally, physically, career wise or spiritually. My therapeutic approach is based on empowering each client I work with and helping them to use inner resources as well as the resources around them. I adjust my techniques and approaches to the needs of each client and pride myself on practicing cultural flexibility. Her approach includes a holistic view of the client's supports, lifestyle, and nutrition as it relates to their current functioning. She has extensive training and experience in treating trauma, autism, depression, bi-polar disorder, and anxiety. She believes the brain-gut connection needs to be explored in therapy due to the gut microbiome's involvement in producing neurotransmitters. As a board-certified Neurotherapist by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance, I provide QEEG brain-mapping and Neurofeedback training for clients. I believe that your treatment should encompass emotional, mental, physiological, psychosocial and behavioral needs. Neurofeedback will improve your brain's flexibility, strength, and endurance. Through Neurofeedback, your emotional, and cognitive states improve as well as your mental performance. Some clients have also found it as an alternative to medication.
