As a group of psychologists, we work with people who are no longer doing things that bring them joy or that aligns with their values, and may feel overwhelming emotions. We often help people who struggle with depression, substance use, anxiety, OCD, panic, and insomnia. We especially enjoy working with people of the LGBTQI+ community. Together, we help our patients re-balance their lives and find ways to connect with the people and passions that define their lives.

I see clients in Florida, Texas, and Alabama. It is my honor to walk alongside people who have committed to the change they want to experience in their lives. I have had the privilege of working with clients for over 15 years. To me, one of the most important aspects of therapy is the FIT between the client and therapist. I specialize in couples counseling and adult relationships. I have been doing couples work since 1977 and also have experience teaching graduate students in Marriage and Family Counseling. Courses included Separation, Divorce and Remarriage as well as Introduction to Marriage and Family Counseling. Previously I was Director of the Counseling Center at University of Houston where I had a staff of Psychologists and trained Psychologists.

Hope, Healing and Wholeness can be found when our relationships with ourselves and others are Healthy. The therapeutic relationship between client and counselor can create a space for clients to safely explore his or her relationship with self and with others. My primary goal is to create this space for individual adults and couples to heal at their own pace. I utilize the treatment modalities of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients explore how their thoughts, behaviors and feelings are connected in their relationship with self and with others.

It can be scary and isolating when wondering how to help your child with their behavior problems, or mental health struggles. I am passionate about working with kids that have been through hard things including abusive situations, foster care, medical trauma, and bullying just to name a few. I love helping kids and their caregivers learn about how their brains work and how to help them heal to move forward in life with confidence.

I work with individual adults via Telehealth. My clients come to me because they are suffering from anxiety, depression or relationship issues despite all they have tried before, sometimes even therapy. I believe the client-therapist relationship is essential and therefore strive to provide a therapeutic experience of acceptance and compassion to promote a space for healing, resolution and goal attainment. I work from a holistic and healing approach considering all aspects of your lifestyle. I started out as a Teacher in Inner and Outer London schools in the United Kingdom working with children, adolescents, and their families. I have worked with clients from all walks of life, including clients from all faith/no faith background comprising of children, adolescents, adults, and their families.
