My therapeutic approach is catered to meet the needs of each client who is ready for a change & even a few who aren't there yet. I specialize in working with individuals whose thoughts or moods have created hurdles in their day-to-day life. My Solution Focused and Cognitive approaches help me to connect with those who are are desperate to identify peace and happiness in their lives.

Creating an empathy driven & compassion focused mental health & social service practice has been my dream since I was 16 years old. My own life experiences drove me into the field of Social Work & mental health to empower, motivate, uplift and elevate individuals, youth, and families. I have over 15 years of experience in Trauma-informed psychotherapy and/or social work practices with a demonstrated history of working in government, civic & social non-profit organizations.

Extensive counseling experience working in private practice with multicultural and socioeconomically diverse individuals, couples, and families. She has always been a "helper" since her youth. She has always had a passion for assisting others. Her friends and family have always confided in her and sought advice when faced with challenges and adversities. She has been a licensed professional counselor for 11 years, with a master’s degree in Counseling from Texas Southern University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She specializes with individuals, adults, adolescents, couples, and families.

I believe that all clients have the inherent ability to overcome whatever challenges they face with the help of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of presenting issues. I have experience in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, physical abuse, sexual abuse, family relationship issues, and parenting concerns. I use a variety of modalities to create a treatment plan that fits each client and their specific needs and goals. I am passionate about empowering clients to make positive changes in their lives.

I specialize in working with children and parents. I have been working in the field of play therapy since 2011 when I was a graduate student. My approach to play therapy is non-directive, client-centered play therapy. I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds. I look at each child and figure out which therapeutic modality works best for them. In terms of parenting, I use Theraplay to build the attachment bond with the parent and child. I also assess the family and we can collaborate on ways that meet your family's needs.

Dr. David Pulley "Dr. Dave" earned his bachelor's in psychology from Howard University in DC and obtained both his Master's and Doctorate from Chestnut Hill College in PA. His Doctorate degree is in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in the subject of Soul Mates. As a result, he is known as an expert on soul mates and a pioneer of some of the clinically based models and theories on the subject. Dr. Pulley has created a team of clinical consultants (Tender Loving Care Clinical Consultations) who provide psychologically based consultative support for their client base.
