I then became a Qualified Mental Health Professional/Case Manager for Texana Center for 8 years in 2007. I then became a behavioral health counselor at Eating Recovery Center-Houston with clients struggling with various eating disorders, followed by becoming a therapist for two different PHP/IOP programs, one for adults and the other for adolescents. Finally, I have experience working for a private practice and now my own private practice with clients who struggle with stress, domestic violence, parenting, family conflict, etc.

Welcome! My name is Nicole Iredale, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience. I work with clients ages 13 and up and specialize in adolescents, young adults, and adults of various backgrounds. My areas of focus include trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, mood disorders (e.g., Bipolar Disorder), working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and Borderline Personality Disorder. My preferred theoretical approaches include DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy, with an eclectic use of techniques under this umbrella.

We live in a challenging and quite complicated world. As we struggle with our hardships, it is important to remember that we don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy is a big commitment, but it can also be a space where you have the opportunity to heal, grow, and embrace your authentic self. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is extremely passionate about working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, emotion regulation, divorce, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, addiction, suicidal ideation, ADHD, as well as school or work-related issues.

While it is common to feel "unraveled" when daily stressors or various traumas occur, everyone has the ability to find meaningful solutions. I believe that everyone is unique, so the solution will be different for each person. My desire is to assist clients (ages 10-90), including adolescents, adults and couples, find a balance between a healthy need for relationship and possible psychological, social or spiritual factors within a framework of personal responsibility. After teaching English and Art for 23 years, I experienced the power of expressive arts to unlock inner voices that help students/clients achieve hope and confidence.

I am psychotherapist and founder of my private practice, Nexus Therapy, where I serve adolescents, adults, and families in Pearland.TX and surrounding areas. My client populations includes individuals and families dealing with complex trauma and PTSD, survivors of neglect and sexual abuse, grief, and attachment disorders. I am also a Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Energy Healing Practitioner for trauma treatment in my belief of holistically addressing trauma and grief. I provide trauma informed trainings and consultation to assist agencies, schools, and trauma professionals in enhancing their trauma informed best practices.
