As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and any individuals looking to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. I believe in empowering my clients and utilizing positive psychology techniques to enhance overall well-being. My approach to counseling also incorporates a holistic perspective, taking into consideration the individual's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Have you noticed a change in you or your child’s behavior lately? Been experiencing any unwanted behaviors such as defiance, declining motivation, isolation, difficulties at school/work, legal troubles, or interpersonal relationship challenges. The child you once new has shifted into a different person, and you’re worried that something internal is going on to cause these behaviors. The school system doesn’t understand that this is not the child you raised and you’re tired of trying to explain how to work with them. It feels like everyone has given up, but I’m here to instill hope that your baby is going to be okay.

I have successfully taught children as early as those in Program Head Start, before becoming a Texas Teacher & School Counselor, and ultimately a LPC-Supervisor . As a child advocate who tries to understand the needs of the child in hopes of helping with mental or emotional turmoil. One may say or think that I specialize in treating children? This would be false, because I can't recall a situation where I could help the child without helping the parents, and even the whole family. Family history and dynamics plays a "Huge" role in your child's development and behaviors.

When life gives you challenges the process of managing those challenges can be real difficult. Having someone to process and find solutions to real life issues can be helpful and supportive. I have a very well rounded background in both adult and child therapy. I have worked with Oncology clients, clients in crisis, couples, families and children with different emotional needs. When I meet a client it is important to meet them where they are and develop a strong therapeutic relationship.

I have provided mental health services for 11 years and my clients have ranged from ages 3-90 years old. It is my joy to work with individuals of any age whose challenges may range from clinical diagnosis to daily life stressors. I believe in change and in the possibility of modifying habits. Individual counseling and couple's counseling are some of the services provided.
