Hello, my name is Marcia Smith, EdD., LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of The Release Center. I provide services for the state of Texas. Working as a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping people cope with their issues. I guide my clients in a way that utilizes both their heads and their hearts. Earning my Bachelors of Science in Psychology as well as my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling has provided me with the knowledge, skill, and technique to work towards guiding clients to work towards peace and growth.The desire to motivate people to work towards their goals developed early in my college years when I worked as a mentor for a local community ministry in a small college town.

Life can be very hard and when we feel hopeless and lost. These problems impact relationships in every area of an individual's life.Our therapists have highly specialized training that focuses on healing and repairing on each client's unique needs. We assist clients to acquire the skills necessary to encourage lasting change and deeper self-understanding. We understand that the level of anxiety and depression are much higher today and taking that first step can be hard. At our center, we use a trust-based approach to assist individuals and families to identify the causes of their distress. Healing is possible!

I always like to say God gave me children early in my adult life because I was meant to help children in their own life struggles. I fully believe that God has plans for us even if we do not fully understand them! When our children face struggles that we cannot understand or feel equipped to help them with, we can feel lost and overwhelmed. Children and adolescents are often placed in situation and have experiences that are out of their control.

Erica L. Anderson subscribes to use a variety of approaches using an empathetic approach that empowers and motivates her clients to look for rainbows when it's raining. Her belief is determination gets more done than doubt and agrees with Josh Billings, "Life is a grindstone and whether it grinds you down or polishes you up depends on what your made of. Her mission as a therapist is threefold to promote a positive nurturing environment for her clients, spark an enthusiasm for optimism, and provide a strong foundation for life long learning to become an even better you.

I'm Adrienne Parker, and I've worked in mental health for over 9 years, providing individual, group, and family therapy. I have worked with various individuals giving treatment for Depression, Anxiety, Youth Substance Abuse, Anger Management, Mood Disorders, Adjustment Disorder, Childhood PTSD, Trauma, Self Esteem, ODD, Stress Reduction, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Parents of Children with Special Needs. I use client-centered techniques, including TF-CBT, Imago Relationship Therapy, CBT, Psychotherapy, Brief Therapy, and ERP. I have successfully taught children as early as those in Program Head Start, before becoming a Texas Teacher & School Counselor, and ultimately a LPC-Supervisor . As a child advocate who tries to understand the needs of the child in hopes of helping with mental or emotional turmoil. One may say or think that I specialize in treating children? This would be false, because I can't recall a situation where I could help the child without helping the parents, and even the whole family. Family history and dynamics plays a "Huge" role in your child's development and behaviors.
