I hope to help my clients develop a sense of resilience, mindfulness; aid in the understanding of themselves, and provide a safe place to heal and grow.

As a mental health therapist with a focus on children and adolescents, my specialty lies in providing targeted support for individuals who are neurodiverse, including those who are autistic and have ADHD. I bring a neurodiverse affirming, strengths-based, individualized approach to my practice, tailoring evidence-based interventions to address each client's unique challenges and strengths. I am committed to creating a safe and understanding therapeutic space, fostering collaboration with both the neurodiverse individual and their family to promote holistic well-being and personal growth.

The Katy DBT Center follows in the tradition of the Houston DBT Center in striving for excellence of care and precision in treatment of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We require all of our therapists to be experienced and well trained in the implementation of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is an evidence-based, modern behavioral therapy originally developed to treat individuals with the then "difficult" symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD). Due the the advent of DBT, BPD is now a good prognosis diagnosis and individuals receiving DBT treatment may expect to eventually no longer meet criteria for BPD.

My clients come from many situations. Mostly they come to me with brokenness, some are addicted to drugs, alcohol and/or sex. Some struggle inside their marriages. Others arrive with deep longings to be of value or feel worthy. I see a large number of men with sexual addiction. I see wives that feel traumatized and betrayed. Often people arrive in my office in a crisis. Most couples I see are in some form of a conflict cycle; they each have hurt feelings and cannot seem to get unstuck from the cycle. As I also conduct psychological assessments, some clients come to me to to be tested for various reasons, such as legal issues

I assist clients dealing with addiction and the related co-occurring issues (anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD/ADD, stress, bipolar, schizo-affective, schizophrenic, etc.). All of my clients have experienced some type of trauma, PTSD, childhood emotional neglect, intergenerational family issues, spiritual emergency / psychosis, etc., and addiction has been the result. Clients who have been impacted are in my estimation actually highly sensitive people and highly spiritual people. I now offer an 11-Session Emotional Integration Training program that teaches you to manage your emotions in a skillful way putting the tools in your hands.
