All of us have experienced life's difficulties. Finding a way to work through these problems and begin to understand ourselves, and grow in the process, is what counseling is about. I provide a nuturing, safe, confidential environment where you can discover yourself, and learn healthy coping strategies . I work with adults, adolescents and children who suffer from depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and other mental health diagnoses. I also work with couples, families and provide group counseling.

Working as a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping people cope with their issues. I guide my clients in a way that utilizes both their heads and their hearts. Earning my Bachelors of Science in Psychology as well as my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling has provided me with the knowledge, skill, and technique to work towards guiding clients to work towards peace and growth.The desire to motivate people to work towards their goals developed early in my college years when I worked as a mentor for a local community ministry in a small college town.

Using sound innovative psychotherapeutic techniques I work with my clients towards their goals. Whether I work with individual, couples, families, or groups, I understand the importance of a healthy relationship, excellent rapport, non-judgment, honesty and the need for confidentiality in working towards these goals. Dear Prospective Clients, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the State of Texas and, a Board-Certified Counselor (BCCC) recognized by the National Association of Christian Counselors (NACC). I started out as a Teacher in Inner and Outer London schools in the United Kingdom working with children, adolescents, and their families. I have worked with clients from all walks of life, including clients from all faith/no faith background comprising of children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I am very passionate about Counseling and I believe that I can help the needy to stand.

Therapy is a partnership, with a common goal of client change in their lives. My focus is client-centered approach by working collaboratively to identify strengths and challenges and develop goals that support the growth of the individual and empower them to make changes. Whether you are addressing a painful problem, working through life changes, or simply wish to experience more joy and fulfillment, know that you are not alone. We all need support from time to time! We see children 2 and up, teens, and adults. Through integrating our faith and clinical training, we offer biblically sound and psychologically skilled approaches to life’s struggles. EMDR CERTIFIED. Whether you face stress at home, work, school or your health, I can help you develop strategies to enhance coping. I work with couples to identify interpersonal stressors to enhance communication and restore harmony. I work with teenagers and young adults on issues of independence, self esteem, depression and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with family caregivers facing illness, advance care planning, death/dying and bereavement. I work with women to enhance their ability to cope with stressors across the lifespan, including infertility, post-partum depression and empty nest challenges.

I am licensed in Texas with 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, relationship issues, anger management, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with couples to repair trust, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional intimacy with each other. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
