My only goal is to be helpful. According to research, telebehavioral therapy is as good as the real thing. That means we can still have an authentic conversation about problems toward co-creating practical solutions. My specialty is talking to people about what they want to talk about. Insights and new ideas emerge from that authentic engagement.
I am too old to perform and, for sure, I do not want clients to feel the need to perform for me. At this point, I just want to provide a safe place for us both to explore what it means to be human in a way that helps the client.
