My passion is treating clients who have endured trauma. I'm trained in EMDR. I combine EMDR with narrative therapy to help clients resolve and reprocess the traumatic event. I love working with clients who suffer from depression, bipolar, and personality disorders. I also work with couples and families who are in crisis. I am also endorsed by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor.

Once they discover their inner strength and learn some tools to face life's challenges with confidence and competence, clients find themselves more satisfied with who they are, where they are going, and how to get there. My wide range of experience and knowledge has given me the freedom to utilize many therapeutic approaches that can help clients resolve their issues. I have over 20 years of experience.

I will put you, the client, your life goals first and help you reach them. We will work together as a team, identifying your goals and using the modalities that I have trained in. I will help you learn tools relevant to your grow. These tools have helped me on my own growth journey as well as the clients that I have worked with. I believe in the value of connecting to the body as a way of healing developmental trauma. This trauma could be manifesting in different ways, physically, mentally, emotionally or a combination of all. My work is grounded in psychological theory, evidence-based practices and incorporates mindfulness.

I am passionate about my work, and I particularly enjoy working with couples. Additionally, I have expertise in working with adolescents, individually or within their family system, facilitating the process of developing independence, coping skills and positive sense of personal identity.

Using sound innovative psychotherapeutic techniques I work with my clients towards their goals. Whether I work with individual, couples, families, or groups, I understand the importance of a healthy relationship, excellent rapport, non-judgment, honesty and the need for confidentiality in working towards these goals.
