I have a broad range of counseling experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I use EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy and to assist clients who are interested in establishing better communication skills, have a desire to build healthier relationships, and want to learn positive strategies when dealing with life's day to day challenges.

Our Mental Health and Social Justice Clinic provides comprehensive psychological evaluations and therapy to kids, teenagers, adults, and seniors. We provide trauma informed individual, couples, family, and group sessions including yoga, mindfulness sessions, and art therapy. We are trauma specialists in informed therapy. Our practice provides individual and group therapy services to survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and violent crimes. Our licensed and skilled team of therapists is devoted to providing quality services and our social justice team is committed to seeing you grow in the community.

I have my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I have been working with children and adolescents for many years before getting my Masters using my Bachelors in Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas. I do apply evident-based and cognitive behavior to allow the client to process and provide self evaluation. My ideal client is between the ages of 4 and 18 who is struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders. Children and adolescents need a safe space to express their emotions and develop coping strategies in order to reduce symptoms, improve functioning in daily life, and achieve long-term emotional well-being. I also love working with families who want to be involved in the therapeutic process. I am a big believer that most of the work is done in between sessions, and I am here to help you and your family find something that works best for you.

I am a highly trained therapist who works with children and adolescents ages 3-18 as well as young adults and parents. I received my undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University and my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas. I have also worked with foster and adoptive children and their families and I am trauma informed as well as having experience in education. I create an open environment with positive regard for my clients without judgment of the circumstances they find themselves in.
