My practice is almost entirely forensic, i.e., court/litigation related, civil, criminal, and immigration cases. My main specialty is evaluating and treating individuals accused of sexual abuse or sexual offenses, child abuse, domestic violence. Some allegations are false, others are true. I find it very rewarding to turn around false allegations. Additional specialties include consulting on child custody evaluations or social studies, CPS cases, and preparation of immigration evaluations, e.g., domestic violence (VAWA), extreme hardship, asylum and evaluations for Adam Walsh waivers.
I like keeping innocent people out of prison & helping actual offenders get needed treatment, often rather than prison. Available for psychosexual risk evaluations, critiques of child custody evals, sex offender risk assessment and treatment, CPS cases, VAWA, hardship & Adam Walsh immigration evaluations, probation/parole revocations, expert testimony.
I am entirely independent, i.e., I have no government contracts, and I do not accept insurance assignment. Therefore, I can focus 100% on the needs of my clients. I am a Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider (LSOTP), and I am able to evaluate and treat adult sex offenders or evaluate those accused of sexual offenses. I am also an LCSW and LMFT.
