I was "ok" ignoring all the signs like panic attacks, staying in bed all day, and obsessing over every little decision, mistake or adversity. I've learned to accept some things & change others by understanding that life is what I CHOOSE IT TO BE! My current goal is to help you diminish suicidal thoughts, express yourself more effectively, and manage your moods. I want you to be "ok" and even better than ok!

I love working with all individuals but feel that I have a specific skill in understanding people who feel thrown away, bullied, and/or marginalized in society. Historically, I have always done very well with people that no one else seems to be able to help or reach. I developed this skill specifically in my years working with low income and indigent people through public mental health. I did many interventions within their homes and showed them that they mattered. I worked with very depressed and suicidal clients, highly anxious clients, trauma survivors, people with schizophrenia, bipolar, PTSD, OCD, schizoaffective.

The goal of therapy is to empower you with insight, strength, knowledge and healing to make a difference in your own life! We all have the power to heal and with guidance and direction, it is possible. I want to offer hope to every person who comes through my door because that's what I believe! I utilize a variety of proven psychological techniques and have over 15 years of experience! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I specialize in working with teens, adults, and couples. I work primarily with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, self-harm, ADD, mood disorders, attachment issues, personality disorders and grief.
