I have been in the field of social work since 1966 and have been a clinician since 1983., working in NYC for 13 years and in Ulster County for 35 years. My experience has included every aspect of social work, but my practice has evolved into the treatment of alcohol and drug abusers. I emphasize addiction as a family disease and counsel members of the family with or without the user. I also treat anxiety and depressive disorders with much success. I feel my varied and long experience in the field qualifies me to work .with anyone regardless of ethnicity, gender, or economic background.

People often reach out with a range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, addiction, eating disorders, career concerns, and the challenges of navigating life transitions.
