I'm not going to lament to you about how hard life is; if you're here you know that. My clientele often have a history of working with many therapists, and not finding the help adequate. Whether it's Autistic Burnout, social exclusion due to neurodiversity, disabling symptoms of ADHD, or hitting a wall regarding improvement in therapy, I have a plan. Neurodiversity does not jive with homework, so I do not give any. You will be challenged, and given a plethora of psychoeducation; because it is so hard to fix something unless you know how it works.

The world is a mess. Sometimes it seems like everything is completely falling apart and none of us know how to handle it. We aren't all the same, so why should we be expected to heal the same way? I will work to meet you where you are at and support you in whatever way you find most beneficial.

Beginning therapy and finding a new therapist can feel challenging yet hopeful. It is important to find a therapist with whom you can form a close bond and who begins to understand you. This bond can give way to more deep and meaningful therapeutic work. As an Object Relations psychoanalytical psychotherapist I will use our therapeutic relationship as the primary vehicle for change. I believe folks come to therapy because some aspects of their lives are not working...we will explore these issues and move to get you where you want and need to be. I have many years of various types of training, but the most important is to get people back to being comfortable, happy and productive in their own world. Are you struggling with food or your body? The people I work with typically struggle with symptoms like binge eating, overeating, irregular eating patterns, or poor body image. I help people find relief from eating disorders. Often, I hear people express how their eating patterns have impaired their relationships, mood, and daily activities.
