My professional life has been consistently focused on serving people in need. After obtaining my bachelors degree from Michigan State University, I initially worked in the Governor's office in Lansing. I then decided to exercise my entrepreneurial spirit and transitioned into helping guide economically challenged families to find better housing solutions by developing low cost single family homes and developing large tracts of vacant and abandoned land. This work of helping families led me to desire doing work even more impactful, which led to my returning to school and obtaining my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology.

I am a Wayne State graduate with a Master's degree in Social Work and a Major in Family & Couples concerns. I have several years of child welfare experience and have been working with children and adults as a therapist for over 10 years. I've worked in school settings and have been trained in the areas of grief, loss, trauma and crisis intervention. In addition to my passion for working with children and families, I'm successful in building positive therapeutic relationships with adult clients.

I have a passion to help people work through issues and concerns so they can live a healthy and well balanced life. I have a Master of Arts degree (MA) in Counseling Education and a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Psychology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in private practice for over five years and work with clients to address all personal, social, and emotional needs. Clinically, I have worked in the Community Mental Health system and in a private practice prior to opening my own private practice. Our founder was selected prestigiously as a University of Michigan field faculty instructor. We are a Mental Health Therapy office. Our founder has a Master's Degree from the number one school in clinical social work in the United States of America; the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and was clinically trained as a social worker psychotherapist by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Health System, where she also conducted research on a variety of mental health issues and continue to work with communities and groups of diverse backgrounds.

As a previous nurse assistant, teacher (toddler-12th grade) and childcare director, I have spent over a decade immersed in hands-on research to better study effective evidence based approaches for treating children and their support systems.
