I specialize in focused treatment for individuals who are suffering from the after effects of trauma and other stressful events. I have worked with people who've experienced a variety of terrible events, such as combat, accidents, abuse, sexual assaults, and near death experiences. After such events, it is common to experience a variety of problems, including PTSD, guilt, shame, anger, depression, anxiety, substance use, or emotional dysregulation. If you are experiencing any of these problems, I can help. I also offer psychedelic assisted therapy, including integration of ketamine or other psychedelic medicines.
Choosing the right therapist is important, so I offer a free 10-minute phone consultation. If you suffer from any of the problems I mentioned above, even if it's not related to trauma or a specific stress, we can work together. Whether you've been in therapy before or are new to the process, we'll collaborate to set and meet goals that are meaningful to you.
I'm open to remote appointments from clients who live in California. I currently take Lyra and Modern Health employee-assistance programs. If you don't have these programs through your employer, I use a service called Mentaya to help you get out-of-network benefits, or I can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance.
