Hi! My name is Katie Leonard, owner and therapist at Well Tended Christian Therapy. I believe God intends for you to become more and more the unique individual He designed you to be. This takes hard, good, intentional work. And it is worth it. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety - it's hard not to in this world! We get to the roots of that anxiety in order to heal the brain, heart and body. The goal is to heal, not just cope. I also work with the following issues, among others: Grief, PTSD and C-PTSD, Trauma, Dissociation, DID, and Attachment wounds (family of origin)
I help my clients heal from the wounds in their past so that they can step into the present with courage, character, and calling. I utilize Story Work (Allender Certified) and EMDR, as well as CBT, embodiment practices, and IFS. I love working with followers of Jesus; we work to integrate faith and truth with the client's lived experience.
