I have a small personalized practice where I specialize in Depression & Anxiety issues for children, teens, adults, and the elderly. I provide a therapeutic environment that is safe, supportive, and without judgment. Through the use of talk therapy and other techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and prolonged exposure therapy, I will be able to help you meet your goals.
Prolonged exposure is a specialized and evidence-based cognitive behavioral approach where you are guided in facing and processing the traumatic event(s) in order to reduce anxiety and other distressing feelings when the memory comes up or is triggered in some way. It also helps to reduce symptoms such as flashbacks, reexperiencing, and intrusive memories.
