The mere thought of therapy can be daunting, while in actuality most of us ask for advice from those around us everyday. What makes therapy different from asking a coworker, friend or relative for their advice, is my approach to therapy. I believe therapy is allowing you the space to work out issues, the space to feel free and learn about yourself in new ways. Therapy is looking at your thoughts and behavioral patterns for maximum effectiveness to your desired goals. My approach is best summed up in a quote by Benjamin Franklin, “There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond, and to know one’s self.”

TELETHERAPY Ideally, I want to create an environment that allows my clients to find their way, learn about themselves, and grow to be leaders in their treatment. The approaches I use give clients the ability to take the initiative, evaluate and then make a plan of action. Making the decision to enter into therapy is a challenge in itself. But in the end I want to meet the client where they are at and go from there. Where applicable I use Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, play therapy, career/coaching and other modalities in practice.

This Practice accepts Medicaid and other insurances. Focus is directed towards a client’s strengths. In today’s world it becomes Increasingly difficult to just “keep up”. We focus on the positive aspects to include client’s abilities, talents and resources that has helped them achieve. Sometimes feeling down on oneself it can be difficult to recall or even identify the strengths that got you to a good place. That’s where we come in.
