We are a private practice made up of psychotherapists who work with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Lisa D'Acierno and her staff work to provide a safe nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere focusing on the individual client's needs. She has been practicing for over 25 years. Our staff is experienced on children and adolescents with PTSD, ADHD, Asperger's/Autism Spectrum, Depression,Teen Issues, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Family Struggles, and Trauma. I am a firm believer in the Strengths Based Approach. That each individual, has the ability to overcome, learn, strive and succeed with the right support and resources. Over the past few years, I have dived into the scientific studies of Trauma & its historic impact on our bodies & mental health. I have also studied & practiced the science of meditation & its remarkable ability to alleviate anxiety & depression.

For over the past 16 years I have worked with adults and adolescents struggling with diverse mental health issues. This can include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD,eating disorders, substance abuse, and borderline personality disorder. These issues can be influenced by stress from external triggers, including trauma, family issues, medical issues, work stress, relationship issues, and grief and loss. Throughout my extensive experience in hospital and private practice settings, I find individuals often feel intensely overwhelmed and stuck in negative thinking patterns and behaviors. By developing a therapeutic relationship, we can create a treatment plan to increase positive feelings and facilitate effective behavioral changes.
