English
| 中文 Therapy is a process of growth and learning. You may be feeling “stuck” at the moment, feeling overwhelmed in relationships, or having challenges adapting to environmental changes, or dealing with recurrent pain from past experiences. In our work together, I will do my best to provide a safe and supportive space where we can explore these feelings or emotions, underlying thought patterns, and unresolved issues. Throughout this process, we will also work to empower the present self by learning techniques to help manage life's challenges.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including nonprofit organizations, schools, and medical settings. I employ an integrated therapy approach, incorporating psychodynamic thinking to gain a deeper understanding of the issues you present, and utilizing evidence-based techniques in the work.
As an immigrant myself, I deeply understand how much the acculturation process and ethnic identity development can influence personal growth and relationships. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples to understand the impact of culture on themselves and their relationships, to better understand current difficulties, and to explore solution.
