About
One of the most challenging and stressful things we face in life are the emotional and behavioral problems of our children. These difficulties impact not only the success of the child but the overall happiness within our home, our marital relationships and life itself can become wearisome and unmanageable. We may begin to wonder if there is “hope” for improvement or even may feel like “what’s wrong with us.” In the effort to find relief or comfort, we may find ourselves drawn to self-defeating and even destructive behaviors that offer immediate yet temporary relief. There are other options. I offer just this to my clients.
My approach to therapy is strength-based and solution oriented. In a nonjudgmental environment, clients approach individual issues and develop skills to manage referral concerns. Some issues have included adolescent behavior concerns, sexual misconduct, depression, trauma and loss, pornography and family difficulties straining marital relationships.
Because I do recognize that life has many demands, I offer EVENING appointments. Additionally, I provide a free consultation by telephone. Consultations are limited to 15 minutes.
