Hi, I’m Hector. Everyone needs a little help at one time or another. Choosing a Therapist is a deeply personal decision, I commend you on your efforts. An experienced Psychotherapist, NYS Licensed Master's of Social Work. I have over 20 years working in the helping profession, and over 10 years working as Mental Health Therapist. I am a Chaplain with NYS Chaplains Task-Force, and am available to listen to your all spiritual needs. I am down to earth, yet have a no nonsense "let's get working" approach.
I believe in taking action –- moving toward concrete steps to change behavior and thought patterns that have not served you well. Often, the changes we need can be resolved by learning new life skills: communication, boundaries, assertiveness, anger management, self-love and strategic problem solving. We will set goals and find the motivation to reach them.
