About

When we avoid dealing with painful emotions and experiences, we allow emotional wounds to develop. Emotional wounds are just as serious as physical wounds, and need just as much attention and care. When we neglect emotional injuries, we allow the wounds to fester and infect other areas of our life. Our therapeutic style focuses on confronting painful emotions and understanding their role in interpersonal emotional reactivity. For this reason, therapy is intense and emotionally heightened. It brings out individuals' most vulnerable emotions and promotes the expression of the true self.
We use a variety of models including Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, and Trauma-Informed care, among others. We work with individuals, couples, families, and offer flexible appointment times to meet the needs of busy families. We also offer VIRTUAL sessions. We offer medication management and psychiatry.
The best way to become a new patient with us to complete the our secure referral form.

More about this group

Tell Someone Group (Sexual Trauma)

In the age of the Me Too movement, survivors of childhood sexual abuse and other experiences of sexual violence are repeatedly exposed to public discourse about sexual trauma. Some survivors have come forward, and others still have not. Survivors might find themselves reliving and revisiting their own abuse within the context of both helpful and unhelpful public discourse. This group was created to offer survivors a safe space to explore their emotions with others who have experienced similar pain. For those who have never told, we are here to listen. For those who want to dive deeper, let us support you.
