I work with Individuals and I am certified to lead psycho-educational groups. Individual treatment is in Office and Virtual and Goal oriented. Client's are encouraged to set a treatment goal and work toward that goal in subsequent sessions. I am a level 2 Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Clinician and utilize EMDR skills and techniques for desensitizing trauma and Breath work and Relaxation to minimize Stress and Trauma within sessions. I am a Brene' Brown Facilitator and use her literature and research to minimize shame and guilt issues around excess expectation.
I previously led 2 day Daring Greatly Intensive weekend group experiences and 8 week/2 hour Rising Strong consecutive session experiences with the research literature of Dr. Brene' Brown. Since Covid-19 I now use this valuable treatment method within the Video Session format.
I have 27 years experience in the Professional Counseling field and have provided services "in the client home", in my private practice, with military staff and via Video Sessions. I have a history in Trauma and Stress Relief Work and I am excited to report working via Video Session has been as helpful to my clientele as In Office Sessions.

Daring Way/Rising Strong Psycho-ed Groups
I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator and lead psycho-educational groups based on the qualitative research and New York Times best selling literature of Dr. Brene' Brown. In group, we "get curious" about the shame and negativity in our lives that lead to fear, blame and disconnection and move gently but intentionally toward courage, compassion and connection. We make this shift by sharing our stories, writing sloppy first drafts, and listening with empathy to ourselves and other group members.
