Ward Lassoe
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC
My sense of humor is big part part of my counseling style. I take my work with clients seriously, but there are times when therapy needs to include some humor. In addition to counseling, I also provide life coaching for clients who want to make changes but aren't sure where to start. Therapy can be a significant expense, so I run my practice as efficiently as possible. All scheduling, forms, notes, and billing are online, so we can make the best use of our time together. Please click the "website" link on the left to watch a video introduction.
I generally see clients for an average of 5-10 sessions, and I specialize in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Most of my clients are teenage boys and adult men. I'm happy to see female clients and couples. but my style seems to work best with guys.
Before I started my counseling career, I worked as a TV news reporter, an online media executive, and an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston. This diverse experience in journalism, business, and education has given me valuable skills that I use today in my counseling practice.
