Hello my name is Wanda Nunn. I have a Masters degree in Education and an Education Specialist degree in Counselor Education. I have my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from the state of South Carolina. I have over 20 years of working with children, adults, couples and families experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, post traumatic stress disorder and other life changes needing support to navigate. Typically, the biggest obstacle for clients is their expectation of how much time "to fix" the issue.
My approach to most client issues is often the problem is not the problem but how clients cope with the problem. When we explore more in depth we find outdated coping strategies that may have worked when a client was younger but does not do so any longer or an emotional connection to the coping skill that is more about connection to historical relationships.
