It is a privilege to offer support and walk with individuals and families who are affected by the struggles of daily life such as anxiety and depression, or those who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. I understand the struggles of parenting and balancing family life, and am willing to walk alongside parents who desire stronger family connections. I have extensive and advanced evidence-based training in the treatment of trauma, both acute and chronic. I am passionate about suicide prevention and awareness, and work with suicide survivors and their familys to help them recover and understand.
I work with clients from a person-centered approach in whatever method or modality is most beneficial to them. I offer a non-judgemental perspective, unconditional support and genuine encouragement for clients, regardless of where they are at on their journey. I incorporate EMDR, IFS, TFCBT and somatic therapy into treatment where beneficial and applicable.
I do presentations on Suicide Awareness/Prevention for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and am a certified CAMS (Collaborative Approach to Managing Suicidality) provider. I work side by side with clients who are experiencing thoughts of suicide and/or have attempted suicide using the evidence-based and widely renowned CAMS framework.
