I have practiced psychotherapy successfully for forty-five years in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospital and free-standing in- and out-patient residential treatment facilities and industry-based (Employee Assistance Program) settings. I have treated individuals with Anxiety, Depression, substance-use disorders, personal and carrier development, personality disorders and situational difficulties. I specialize in growth-promoting individual psychotherapy. My orientation is Assimilative-Integrative, drawing on major psychotherapy systems to adopt adapt my approach to achieve the individuals therapeutic goals.
I attempt to create a facilitative environment promoting the growth and integration of the person in treatment. Through successful treatment of my depression, I decided to become a psychotherapist and share the benefit of treatment with others.
